Most companies do not have an ERP problem: they have a copies problem. The same job lives in the management software, in a planning spreadsheet, on a paper sheet and in the fitter’s WhatsApp. Each copy ages at its own pace, and somebody spends half a day a week reconciling them.

So the system is organised around chained states taken from your process, not from a template: confirming a quote generates the order; the order blocks scheduling while material is missing; booking in the delivery note unblocks it; the fitter closes the job sheet with the customer’s signature, and that sheet is what gets invoiced.
